Macromedia Academy is one of the leading private schools for training in the fields of design, fashion, computer science, games, media, events, e-commerce, marketing, and sports. For almost 30 years, Macromedia Academy has successfully accompanied young people on their way into professional life.
Since 2013, Macromedia Academy has been part of the international education group Galileo Global Education. Being state-recognised schools, the academies are represented at the following six locations nationwide: Munich, Stuttgart, Freiburg, Cologne, Hamburg, and Leipzig. At each location in Germany, the academies offer various qualified vocational training courses, which can be supplemented with a Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK, HK, HWK) diploma if necessary.
Unlike with in-company dual vocational training, trainees spend most of their training period in the inter-company training at the Macromedia Academy. Our experienced instructors know their industries and have been working there for many years. They impart theoretical and practical knowledge in a clear and systematic manner.
Due to almost 30 years of intensive cooperation with the media industry as well as the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Macromedia Academy certificate is recognised throughout Germany and stands for an excellent entry or promotion opportunities.
Retraining is a compact, comprehensive vocational training program. After about 24 months, including an internship, participants take the final IHK vocational examination and become IT specialists, marketing communications specialists, media designers for image and sound, media designers for digital and print media, or event managers.
The retraining programs at Macromedia Academy are certified in accordance with the Accreditation and Approval Regulation for Employment Promotion (AZAV), approved and eligible for up to 100 percent funding from the Federal Employment Agency. Education vouchers can also be redeemed at Macromedia Academy.
Macromedia University on-campus programmes are practice-oriented with a thematic focus on coding, design, film, journalism, games, art, management, media and psychology.
