Most of the lectures and other courses take place on your chosen campus. They are filled with current topics from the various industries, as our lecturers come directly from the field.
During your studies, you will work on practical projects together with professors, fellow students and cooperation partners to gain your first practical experience before completing an internship at a company of your choice during the practical semester.

Macromedia has been one of the most renowned educational institutions in the German-speaking world for almost 30 years, focusing on study and further education programmes in media, management, and the creative industries.
The company is led by Marc Irmisch-Petit and has been part of the international education group Galileo Global Education, based in Paris, since 2013. This group is majority-owned by the family behind L’Oréal and the Canadian pension fund CPP Investments.
With the Macromedia University of Applied Sciences and the Macromedia Academy, the institution is represented at key locations across Germany—including Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Freiburg, Hamburg, Hanover, Cologne, Leipzig, Munich, and Stuttgart. Notably, all English-taught programmes are offered exclusively at the Berlin and Munich campuses, providing students with a vibrant, international learning environment in two of Germany’s most dynamic cities.
