The Managing Director of Macromedia is Marc Irmisch-Petit. Since 2013, Macromedia has been part of the Paris-based international education group Galileo Global Education, which is now majority-owned by the L’Oreal family and the Canadian pension fund CPP Investments.
The members of the Galileo network benefit from a wide range of cooperation opportunities and synergies. For example, Macromedia has expanded its academic portfolio with new educational brands, such as the Acting bachelor programme in cooperation with the Parisian drama school Cours Florent at selected locations.
