Supporting the Social Media Team as an Influencer Relations Intern at Fabletics

Supporting the Social Media Team at Fabletics

As an Influencer Relations Intern at Fabletics, my role is a dynamic blend of creativity, coordination, and collaboration. One of the most exciting aspects of my internship is working closely with the social media team to ensure our influencer partnerships are seamlessly integrated into our overall social media strategy. In this post, I’ll share insights into how we coordinate to align influencer content with our brand’s messaging and campaigns, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and communication in achieving cohesive and impactful social media marketing efforts.

Coordinating with the Social Media Team

The collaboration between the influencer relations and social media teams is crucial for the success of our campaigns. Our first step is to ensure that influencer content aligns with Fabletics’ brand messaging. We achieve this by sharing detailed campaign briefs with influencers, outlining key messages, visuals, and the overall tone we aim to convey. This step ensures consistency across all platforms. Additionally, we maintain a shared content calendar that includes scheduled posts from both the social media team and influencers. This synchronization helps us identify the best times for influencer content to go live, maximizing engagement and reach. Weekly meetings with the social media team are essential. These check-ins allow us to review upcoming campaigns, discuss any adjustments needed, and brainstorm new ideas to enhance our social media presence.

Teamwork and Communication

Effective teamwork and communication are the backbones of our success. By working closely together, we ensure that everyone is on the same page, working towards a unified vision for our social media presence. Open lines of communication mean that any issues or changes can be addressed swiftly, preventing potential disruptions to our campaigns. Collaborative brainstorming sessions often lead to innovative ideas that we might not have come up with individually.

Organizing Influencer Events

One of the highlights of my role is organizing influencer events. These events not only help us build strong relationships with influencers but also promote Fabletics in a lively and engaging way. We start by selecting unique venues, such as trendy gyms and workout spaces in London and Berlin. The location is crucial for creating an appealing and Instagram-worthy experience. Coordinating with influencers, sending out invitations, and managing RSVPs are critical tasks. We ensure that the right mix of influencers is present to maximize our event’s reach and impact. During the event, I work closely with the social media team to capture live content, manage interactions, and ensure everything runs smoothly. These events are fantastic opportunities to showcase our brand and products in action.

Conclusion

My internship at Fabletics has been an incredible journey of learning and growth. Working with the social media team to integrate influencer partnerships into our strategy has taught me the importance of alignment, communication, and creativity. The process of organizing influencer events has been equally rewarding, allowing us to build genuine relationships and promote our brand in innovative ways. As we continue to evolve our strategies, the synergy between influencer relations and social media remains at the heart of our success.
